Man arrested in Puerto Rico in Phila. man's death

A man living in Puerto Rico faces murder charges in the shooting death of a man in North Philadelphia this year, police said.

On Sept. 20, 2006, David Delgado, 38, was shot in the back of the head in the 600 block of North 17th Street, near his home on the 1600 block of Wallace Street in the Spring Garden section. He was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital a short time later.

On Oct. 28, 2006, homicide detectives obtained an arrest warrant on murder charges for Javier Artache, 26, of San Juan, police said.

He was arrested on the island Friday by Philadelphia's homicide fugitive squad and the U.S. Marshal's Service.
