The Monmouth University/Gannett New Jersey Press Media Poll called 400 likely voters from Sept. 24 to 28. Adler leads Runyan by 48 percent to 35 percent in the Burlington and Camden Counties portion of the district, while Runyan has a 44 percent to 34 percent edge over Adler in Ocean County. Polls conducted by Richard Stockton College and Rutgers University found bigger spreads between the two major-party candidates but polling sponsors noted the race is very close and could change between now and Nov. 2. - Cynthia Burton
