Body found in river off Burlco was N.Y. woman
New Jersey State Police yesterday identified the woman whose body was discovered Nov. 14 in the Delaware River in Burlington County.
Farisha Rahamot-Ali, 38, of Queens, N.Y., was reported missing Oct. 27. Her sister, who lives in Willingboro, was searching the state police Web site when she found the news release with a composite drawing and photos of her sister's tattoos. She called detectives at the Bordentown barracks and told them the body might be that of her sister.
Rahamot-Ali, a native of Trinidad, was positively identified by dental records.
Rahamot-Ali was found just off Mansfield Township. The death remains under investigation. An autopsy could not determine the cause. - Sam Wood
