Montco woman infected with swine flu dies in Fla.
A 19-year-old Montgomery County woman who was infected with swine flu died Monday at a hospital in Orlando, Fla., officials said yesterday.
Public health officials in Orange County said the woman, who had underlying medical conditions, was visiting the state when she was hospitalized.
No further information was available about the woman, whose death was the sixth associated with swine flu to involve Pennsylvanians. Three Philadelphians have died of complications related to influenza A(H1N1); the other deaths were residents of Berks and Pike Counties.
At least nine people have died of swine flu complications in New Jersey. One lived in Ocean County; the others were from the northern part of the state. - Don Sapatkin
