Parachutist hurt during nighttime jump in Glouco

A parachutist was injured during a night jump Thursday at Free Fall Adventures Skydiving Center at Cross Keys Airport in Williamstown, authorities said yesterday.

The victim, who was not identified pending notification of family, hit his head shortly after 10 p.m. during a landing at the Gloucester County airport on North Tuckahoe Road. He was treated at Cooper University Hospital for a possible concussion, according to authorities and Free Fall Adventures.

Night jumps are required to receive a parachutist's master license, which allows the holder to serve as an instructor and participate in worldwide skydiving competitions.
