Register of Wills Office to make house calls to help the ill

WEST CHESTER The Chester County Register of Wills Office is now making house calls.

Staff from the office will visit hospices, nursing facilities, hospitals, and homes to execute legal documents for those with severe health problems, according to a news release. Notarizing services and marriage licenses are both available.

"Our staff will go on the road to help our needy residents," Register of Wills Terry Clark said in the release.

Since the program was launched, Clark said, staff members from the office have traveled to Unionville, West Chester, South Pottstown, and Coatesville to provide several marriage licenses and to notarize documents.
