Sideshow: Mötley Crüe: Bye, bye, bye, bye

Gotta say, Mötley Crüe are taking their time calling it quits. Basically, the umlauted metal-bangers are doing a two-year world tour that will end next New Year's Eve. They now have announced they're coming through Pennsy for two stops on the last leg of the final part of the concluding segment of their terminal tour. On Aug. 11, they soil the Giant Center in Hershey, and on Aug. 14, they violate the Wells Fargo Center. Alice Cooper is the supporting act. In this, our age, when it can be a little too easy to say or do something someone else someplace thinks is offensive, Sideshow favorite Billy Crystal got into a little hot salsa and is trying to extricate himself. At an FX panel on his forthcoming show The Comedians, he was asked about playing the first gay character in a U.S. broadcast TV series (Jodie Dallas in Soap in 1977). It was awkward sometimes back then, B-Crys said - and then he said that these days, only 38 years later, he saw a lot of stuff, and "sometimes I get it, and sometimes I just feel like, 'Ah, that's too much for me.' " Immediately excoriated across the planet for being anti-gay, Billy on Tuesday clarified that he was talking about all sex scenes, not just same-sex sex scenes.  

What is Ke$ha doing? On Saturday, the krazy pop star was at the Los Angeles National History Museum for a pal's wedding. At one point, she kinda-sorta took a big T. Rex from the gift shop and went outside. Um, K., you have to pay for things in this life. When stopped and asked, she said she thought someone else paid, etc. Also, she took and tweeted a high-spirited photo with a Triceratops skeleton. Those museum folks? No sense of humor. They called the photo disrespectful. As if this were church. I mean, the last Triceratops tromped through the swamps about 66 million years ago. How, exactly, does one disrespect that? Ke$ha was behaving sillily, though.

These days, people drop albums at the drop of an album. Icelandic crazy-genius music lady Björk planned to release her new one, Vulnicura, in March. But over the weekend, some cruddy thief leaked the whole thing over the InterWebs. Oh, yeah?!, said Björk. Take that!! On Facebook, Tuesday, she announced: "dear websitefolks, fans, tweeters and my music supporters on all the sorts of www: vulnicura will be rolling out worldwide over the next 24 hours !!"

Kacie McDonnell, formerly traffic reporter at Philly's Fox29, and Aaron Murray, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, have ended their engagement. . . . Today cohost Hoda Kotb, after keeping the ID of her bf secret, finally spilled the cat out of the beanbag on Tuesday: It's NYC financier Joel Schiffman. He'd been outed by the papa- and mamarazzis, so. . . . Mick Jagger has established a fund in honor of gf L'Wren Scott, who ended her own life last March. World's best soccer guy Cristiano Ronaldo (he's won the Ballon d'Or, the prize for best soccer socker in the world, the last two years) confirms that he and his Russian model gf Irina Shayk have decided to end their five-year liaison.
