Sideshow: Jon, Kate, many pieces of eight
A judge in Montgomery County court in Norristown yesterday ordered overexposed reality TV star Jon Gosselin, 32, to return $180,000 to a joint bank account he shares with estranged wife Kate. The sum is part of $232,000 that Kate, 34, alleged Jon took despite orders from their divorce arbitrator.
"The remaining sum of $55,000, which Ms. Gosselin used for household bills and expenses relating to the children, will be subject to further determination by the arbitrator at a later date," Mark Momjian, Kate's lawyer, said in a statement.
Kate seemed pleased: "As difficult as this has been for me, I am pleased that the court has ruled fairly on behalf of myself and my children. Now that this matter has been ruled on, I look forward to returning to private arbitration, as we have agreed to do, to resolve any remaining issues."
Jon must pay back the money by Oct. 26, when the couple is due back in court, or face contempt charges.
His lawyer had no comment.

Tracy says he still loves Will Ferrell, Molly Shannon, and Colin Quinn.

"A dazzling movie star deserves a dazzling ring," says People.com about Spain's razzle-dazzle super-babe Penélope Cruz, who sported a new razzle-dazzle ring this weekend at the New York Film Festival. Dazzled gossipers are confused: Does the bijou - a "knuckle-sized sapphire surrounded by small diamonds" - denote, connote, or signify a betrothal? Cruz, 35, did not speak on the topic.
