Love columnist Kellie Patrick Gates was recently astonished to find herself illustrative of a marriage trend – she got hitched at age 36.

Previously an award-winning news reporter for The Inquirer and other newspapers in Pennsylvania, New York and Florida, she now writes from the Montgomery County home she shares with her husband, two dogs, a cat, and an unfinished wedding scrapbook.
