Sideshow: 'Bombshell' too much for Bullock?

Seems the rumor-mongers were right after all: Oscar-winning American sweetie Sandra Bullock, 45, has flown the coop. An anonymous source tells People.com that Sandra has removed herself from the Southern California house she shares with her husband, motorcycle jock Jesse James, 40.

Seems the rumor-mongers were right after all: Oscar-winning American sweetie

Sandra Bullock

, 45, has flown the coop.

An anonymous source tells People.com that Sandra has removed herself from the Southern California house she shares with her husband, motorcycle jock Jesse James, 40.

The couple, who wed in July '05, are fragmenting following reports that Jesse has conducted an 11-month affair with one Michelle "Bombshell" McGee. Reports of marital deconstruction intensified this week when Sandra nixed her appearance at the London premiere of The Blind Side.

Ms. Bombshell and Jesse have at least one thing in common: They are heavily tattooed individuals. Fact, Jesse's alleged mistress is a tattoo model. They also adore texting each other.

Ms. Bombshell has given (or $old?) In Touch copies of their messages. "Just think'n bout u this morning," reads a text she sent Sunday.

Could there be a stronger testament to love than sharing one's intimate, X-rated texts with a tabloid mag?

Justice Souter's the lifeguard . . .

The New York Times says Yale University's venerable law library, which houses centuries- old legal documents, also has saved for posterity a dozen bobblehead dolls depicting justices of the Supreme Court.

"A hundred years from now, if someone wants to study the bobbleheads, where will they go?" associate librarian Fred R. Shapiro asks. "There needs to be an archive."

Indeed!

Dolls include ones of Justices William H. Rehnquist, Sandra Day O'Connor and John Paul Stevens.

"I don't know if anyone has cataloged bobbleheads before," Shapiro said. "This might be breaking new ground."

It's hard to believe über-librarian Melvil Dewey didn't make provisions for the bobblehead in his decimal system.

The David H. Souter bobblehead, the Times says, "wears heavy gold jewelry and sits on a lifeguard stand." But of course . . .

Kristen Stewart, who inhabits the soul of Wynnewood native Joan Jett in The Runaways, tells USA Today that Jett's all-girl, pre-grrrl-power band helped open up American girls' horizon of possibilities: "We've grown up being told that, as girls, we can do whatever we want, and that just wasn't the case for" Jett and her band.

DWTS:

"The only man in my life right now is

So, is it easier to host or to compete on DWTS? "This time it will actually be a lot easier," Season 7 champ and recently hired show host Brooke Burke tells People.

BB says she admires no-talent contestant Kate Gosselin, because if Berks County's one-woman reality TV plague can handle eight kids, she can "handle anything in the world."

Sideshow: Tiger, Tiger, Texting Bright

Tiger Woods' self-professed mistress, Joslyn James, has created a Web site (www.sextingjoslynjames.com/), on which she has posted 100 graphic - at times, veritably pornographic - text messages the golfer allegedly sent her. "OK, I would like to have a threesome with you and another girl you trust," one of the texts reads. "I want to treat you rough, throw you around, spank and slap you," says another. In a public apology lambasted by comics from here to Timbuktu, Tiger admitted he suffers from a sexual addiction and has sought treatment at a rehab. Even President Obama has weighed in, telling Fox News, "Tiger has acknowledged that he betrayed his family and that's a personal issue they've got to work out. I hope they work it out and that he returns to golf." Tiger, who is returning to competitive golf, spoke at Obama's Inaugural concert.
