Sideshow: Remembering Ed McMahon
"The report that is being published did not come from our office," Winter said. "I don't know where that information came from, or who that information came from. It is not accurate. Some of it is totally false."
A wizard's favorite college
Where does a brilliant student go after the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? Harry Potter star Emma Watson, for one, is heading to Columbia University in the fall.
"I'm so excited. Living in London, it's hard to be anonymous. But hopefully, on a campus somewhere, I'll fade into the background a bit," Emma tells Elle. Doubt it.
Emma, 19, is already a woman of means, says London's Daily Mail, which says Emma has earned more than $16.5 mil for playing Hermione Granger in the Potter flicks. (Quite a difference from, say, Brad Pitt, who rakes in more than that for a two-minute cameo.)
Emma says she may, or may not, return to acting after college.
A date with Jen?
Gossipers continue to angst mightily over the state of Jennifer Aniston's love life. No one, it seems, wants to admit he's dating Jen.
Days after glossies ran screaming headlines that Jen was seeing thesp Bradley Cooper (Wedding Crashers, Nip/Tuck), Brad told reporters at a Louis Vuitton confab in Paris that Jen is "simply, simply, just a friend." He even said it in perfect French. He did admit that Jen is "a very, very interesting woman."
Hayden back to second grade
In an E!xclusive rE!port, E!Online has uncovered Heroes goddess Hayden Panettiere's secretest crush. And no, it's not funny detective guy Richard Belzer.
It's some no-name dude from her toddlerhood. "My biggest crush was in the second grade on this kid named Mike," Hayden tells E!'s Marc Malkin. "He was really good at kickball." Tragically, things didn't turn out well for the star-crossed lovers: Mike had a crush on Hayden's best friend.
