Clearing the record

A story yesterday on an auction of Curt Flood memorabilia misspelled the name of former Phillies pitcher Joe Hoerner.

A story yesterday about bands that had equipment stolen mischaracterized a victim of a 2006 theft from a hotel parking lot. The band Film School had a van and equipment stolen. Also, in stating that Mae has raised $58,841.32 through its Web site, the story should have specified that those funds have been raised over the course of the year for the band's humanitarian efforts, not to cover the cost of replacing Mae's stolen instruments. Donations to help Mae replace its stolen instruments are accepted at http://www.whatismae.com/donate
