Clearing the record

Renee Ramsey, formerly Richard Ramsey, the subject of a Health & Science article Monday about her recent transgender surgery, was described as a Navy veteran who also served in special operations in the Army. Ramsey was photographed wearing an Army uniform in 1982 and at a recent American Legion function. Ramsey wears the Army uniform because of dual service.

William Kelly, president of the Philadelphia Korean War Memorial, was wrongly identified as a veteran in a photo caption Wednesday with a story about honoring veterans.

A group that met Wednesday with U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak was misidentified in a photo caption yesterday with an article about lawmakers meeting with veterans. The group's members are residents of the City Team Ministries shelter in Chester.
