Strawberry Mansion murder victim identified

Police have identified a man found shot dead Tuesday on a North Philadelphia street.

He was Raymond Berry, 34, who lived on the 2400 block of North Patton Street in Strawberry Mansion, just blocks from the crime scene.

Berry, who had been shot in the face, head and back, was found about 3:55 a.m. on the 3000 block of West Dakota Street and pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators have not disclosed if they have established a motive in the killing.
