Man, 19, slain in Chester City
A 19-year-old Delaware man was shot and killed last night in Chester City, police said.
Police responded to a report of a shooting on the 1300 block of Crosby Street in the shadow of I-95 about 11:20 p.m. and when they arrived found paramedics working on the victim, who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
They rushed him to Crozer Chester Medical Center Trauma Unit, but he died at 11:55 p.m., police said.
He was identified this morning as Kaliym Bowman, of New Castle County, Del.
Detectives are seeking a motive and suspect in the slaying.
