Delco vaccine clinic relocated

Swine flu vaccine clinics scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Delaware County have been moved to the Penn State Branywine Campus in Media, state officials said today.

The free clinics for priority groups were originally planned for Chichester Middle School in Boothwyn but concern about high demand prompted the Pennsylvania Department of Health to change the location.

Appointments are required.

The location change does not affect registrations and people who have already registered do not need to do so again, a spokeswoman said.

But they should go to the Commons/Athletic Building at 25 Yearsley Mill Rd. (off Route 352, a.k.a. Middletown Road), using the Campus Drive entrance.

Locations of 17 other state health department vaccine clinics on the same days - including Manheim in Lancaster County, Reading in Berks County and Allentown in Lehigh County - are unchanged.

To register for any of the clinics, go to http://go.philly.com/flu and click on Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Eligibility guidelines and details about other clinics, including some at Wal-Mart pharmacies in South Jersey, are posted as well.
