Reward offered in 08 murder of Penn grad
A $50,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and a conviction in the 2008 murder of a Delaware County man, the Citizens Crime Commission announced today.
Veno Leigertwood, 31, was gunned down in the driveway of his Yeadon home at 6:30 a.m. Sept. 13 by two men who shot him from behind and ran off.
Leigertwood, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, was headed to a Saturday class at Eastern University, where he was studying for his MBA degree. His wife and 7-month-old daughter were asleep in the home in the 600 block of Church Lane at the time of the killing.
