Terrell Owens had problems on ABC´s "The Superstars" two weeks in a row. On June 30, he broke a padded bar he was supposed to clear in the "water jump." On the first show, June 23, he got his foot tangled in a net and lost his heat in the obstacle course. He and sharp-tongued supermodel Joanna Krupa got kicked off that week, but returned when another team had an injury.

‘Too cocky’ T.O. flubs long jump on ‘Superstars’

Terrell Owens messed up once again.

And once again, his teammate, supermodel Joanna Krupa, ripped him - though this time she favored "freaking" over getting bleeped.

Still, despite T.O. cracking a "Water Jump" bar with his big feet - good for ZERO points - the dubious duo did avoid elimination from NBC's The Superstars.

The two were kind of on probation, after a series of humiliating losses got them tossed off last week.

But last night, thanks to an opponent's injury, they were back - much to the chagrin of the other athlete-celebrity pairings, like singer Julio Iglesias Jr. and soccer star Brandi Chastain.

Owens, of course, kept flexing his favorite set of muscles - his mouth.

On Krupa's earlier insults (like "Calls himself an athlete? What does he get a million dollars for?"): "We had a little drama. I don't fault her for it. It just shows she's very competitive."

On possibly winning the beach sprint: "Oh yeah, you shouldn't expect anything less."

Other teams were unhappy, even suspicious.

"Yeah, let's bring T.O. back for the 100-meter dash," quipped X Games skier Kristi Leskinen.

"For what he does for a living," smirked her partner, Maks Chmerkovsiy, a Dancing With the Stars instructor.

After finishing first, T.O. agreed his team was the one to beat: "Right now we are."

The second event was a long jump into a lagoon - with a twist. Competitors "bet" how far they could jump, by moving a styrofoam-encased bar.

In practice, T.O. jumped an "astounding" 20 feet, according to host John Saunders.

But Krupa was worried.

As Owens compared his jumping abilities to NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan's, she said, "T.O., you better stop being so freaking cocky, because it's going to make us lose."

And she was right.

T.O. hooted when skier Bode Miller tried 20 feet and failed, partly because a rising tide had lifted the bar several feet.

But did T.O. learn? Nope. He still tried 20 feet.

And landed on the bar.

"Yeah! Yeah, baby!" laughed basketball's Robert Horry.

"Oh my god! Oh my god!" said Krupa, holding her hands against her head.

(Last week, she favored "un. . .ingbelievable.")

Horry messed up his jump, too, making Owens ecstatic: "Hey, you got zero! And they gotta replace the bar!"

Points from the Sand Dash win let Owens and Krupa escape the final series of showdowns.

No such luck for Horry and his partner, actress Estella Warren.

They botched the obstacle course, and said their goodbyes ... cordially.
