Four wounded in two shootings

Two apparently unrelated shootings overnight in West Philadelphia left four men wounded, police said.

At 11:10 p.m. several gunmen opened fire on two men sitting on the curb of the 4900 block of Olive Street in the Haddington neighborhood.

The first victim, a 24-year-old, was shot in the chest, arm and leg. The second, a 45-year-old, was shot in the back as he attempted to run away.

Both men were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in guarded condition.

Later, two men were shot outside the Commodore Lounge in the 5500 block of Baltimore Avenue at 1:30 a.m.

A single gunman walked up and shot the first victim, a 32-year-old, twice in the legs before shooting the second, a 29-year-old, in the knee, hip, legs, arm and neck.

Both men were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and are currently listed in stable condition.

Police are investigating both shootings.
