PennDOT announces lane closures
The right lane of the northbound Girard Point Bridge (Interstate 95) over the Schuylkill will be closed through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a bridge inspection, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said.
Sign structure inspections will cause traffic restrictions this week in Delaware County, PennDot said:
Today: The right northbound lane of I-95 will be closed between Routes 320 and 420 from 9 a.m. to noon. The southbound right lane will be closed from noon to 3 p.m.
Today: One lane will be closed northbound and southbound on Route 291 between Fourth Avenue and the Philadelphia International Airport in Tinicum Township from 9 a.m. to noon.
Today: One lane will be closed on northbound and southbound Route 420 between the Darby Creek and Second Street in Tinicum Township from noon to 3 p.m.
Tomorrow: One lane will be closed on southbound I-95 between Stewart and Bartram Avenues in Tinicum Township from 9 a.m. to noon. One northbound lane will be closed from noon to 3 p.m.
Thursday: Two right lanes on northbound I-95 will be closed between Routes 320 and 420 from 9 a.m. to noon. Two southbound right lanes will be closed from noon to 3 p.m.
Thursday: One lane will be closed on northbound and southbound Route 420 between the Darby Creek and Second Street in Tinicum Township from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thursday: One lane will be closed on the I-95 Wannamaker Avenue Collector Road between Darby Creek and Second Street in Tinicum Township from 1 to 3 p.m.
Friday: One lane will be closed on southbound I-95 between Stewart and Bartram Avenues in Tinicum Township from 9 a.m. to noon. One northbound lane will be closed from noon to 3 p.m.
Additionally, there will be lane restrictions through Thursday on the Blue Route, north and south, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between MacDade Boulevard (Exit 1) and Germantown Pike West/Plymouth Road (Exit 20) for vegetation control.
