Hillary Clinton at Radnor H.S. today

Sen. Hillary Clinton will hold a town hall meeting this morning with U.S Rep. Joe Sestak at Radnor High School, where they will talk about the war in Iraq, according to an announcement from Sestak's office. Doors open at 9 a.m. and the event is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.

Clinton's position on Iraq varies little from that of her Democratic presidential opponent, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama. Both candidates have called for a drawdown of troops and a renewed effort to engage Iraq's neighbors in stabilizing the region.

Obama argues that the U.S. should announce a timetable for troop withdrawal, a position Clinton does not support. Obama's anti-war stance is central to his campaign and a top issue among his supporters.

Sestak, a former Navy vice admiral, has also called for a timetable for withdrawal.

Sestak won his seat in 2006 from longtime incumbent Republican Curt Weldon. The Seventh Congressional District includes most of Delaware County, where about 54 percent of the registered voters are Republican. But the county has recently voted for Democrats in national elections.
