Hill Int’l wins contract for Saudi project

Hill International has won a contract to manage construction of a 57-acre development in Saudi Arabia.

Hill International has won a contract to manage construction of a 57-acre development in Saudi Arabia.

The Marlton-based construction engineering and consulting firm said the three-year contract with the Jabal Omar Development Co. is worth about $18.6 million.

The Jabal Omar project, in Makkah, will consist of 21.5 million square feet of space that includes hospitality, residential, retail, commercial and religious uses.

Hill International, which has 2,600 employees in 90 offices worldwide, was priced early this afternoon at $3.92, up 1 cent, on the New York Stock Exchange.    - Roslyn Rudolph
