Herley wins $12M missile contract

Herley Industries Inc., Lancaster, said Thursday it was awarded a $12 million contract to produce electronic hardware for the U.S. missile program.

The contract, which extends ongoing work Herley has done for the program, involves flight instrumentation equipment. The award was made by the prime contractor on the missile project.

Herley manufactures equipment and systems using microwave technology for the defense, aerospace and medical industries.    - Paul Schweizer
