Trump faces more Scottish protests

The latest challenge to Donald Trump's plan to build a golf resort in Scotland comes in the form of an 85-year-old woman who says she won't sell her property, which is part of the parcel that would become the $1.7 billion project, Bloomberg News reported today.

Trump, who just last week announced he was no longer trying to regain control of the three Trump casinos in Atlantic City, has faced opposition from environmentalists and landowners since unveiling his plans for the resort, which would feature two championship courses and hundreds of hotel rooms, houses and time-share villas a few miles north of Aberdeen.

Molly Forbes filed papers with the Court of Session in Edinburgh, seeking an interim judgment against planning consents granted by Aberdeenshire Council, Bloomberg reported, citing an e-mailed statement from the Environmental Law Centre Scotland, a charity that provides environment-related legal advice to organizations and individuals.

The Trump Organization didn't immediately comment, Bloomberg said.
