Comcast investigating today's phone outage

Comcast Corp. phone customers in parts of the nation lost their service for about 90 minutes today.

The service was restored about 12:30 p.m. and the Philadelphia company is investigating the outage, spokesman Charlie Douglas said today.

The company could not say how many customers lost service, but said it was not a total outage.
