pub's chances
Anything is possible. But it is going to be very, very tough.
The Catholic League is favored to sweep the Class AAAA, Class AAA and Class AA City titles.
That's because St. Joe’s Prep is the overwhelming Class AAAA favorite. Lansdale Catholic and Archbishop Wood have a chance to be among the state’s top Class AAA teams. And I don’t see anyone of the district's Class AA squads coming close to beating West Catholic.

I'm assuming that you are just talking about Philadelphia and not Southeastern Pennsylvania as a whole. There are several standout players worth watching in Philly. I know that I will miss a few, but here are some players: Neumann-Goretti rising juniors Tony Chennault and Daniel Stewart, Prep Charter rising senior Jesse Morgan, Germantown Academy rising junior Cameron Ayers, Girard College rising sophomore John Johnson, Imhotep Charter rising senior Will Adams, Chestnut Hill Academy's Gary Lawrence, Roman Catholic rising junior Rakeem Brookins and Bartram rising sophomore Tyrone Garland.
what part of the game is that
I don't know why he's not on the roster. I don't have anything to do with the All-Star Classic or the All-Star Classic selection process.
No props for Price
Chanelle Price is a great runner, perhaps the best high school girls' track athlete in some time. However, she does not live in the Philadelphia area. The all-Southeastern Pennsylvania team is made up of track and field athletes from the Philadelphia area.
In regards to adopting her for high school awards, we can't since her high school is not in our area..
Was it the coach or the athletes?
I fully understand your concern in regards to Carla Williams' comments about Penn Wood's track team under the direction of athletic director Rap Curry and new coach Lenny Jordan. However, I suggest that we ALL move on to another topic. This continued dialogue brings too much negative attention to what has been a successful season for the Patriots.
Why would the EX coach of PENN WOOD react in such a childish way?
For someone that I respected I am really surprised you would do something so childish. I believed in you and you let me down. You were like our track mom and doing that just made us all ashamed. You should of been proud of us for stepping up and putting Penn Wood where it should be; which is at the top. You taught us to be phenomenal women so why would you do something that would hurt us?
Does Penn Wood track and field athletes have a voice?
As one of you former athletes I feel really offended about what you wrote in the Philadelphia Inquirer the other day. When you said that we would have been humiliated if you took us to nationals last or the year before, that really made it seem as though you didn't have faith in us. Now since you said that you had athletes that placed third in the 4x200 two years ago, fourth in the 4x200 last year, and a former 200-meter indoor state champion last year, then why would you say we would get humiliated? Making a statement like that make you seem really ungrateful. Now we are not saying that Lenny is some type of savior but he has truly been a great help to us while you were unable to coach. Although one of Penn Wood girls' athlete was injured and wasn't able to run at indoor nationals, Lenny still took us so that we could at least experience it. Lenny has so much faith in us that he is going to take us to outdoor nationals in June as well. No matter if we do good or bad at outdoor nationals, Lenny will still be proud of us regardless, because he knows that we have the hearts of true soldiers. Now if Lenny believes in us, then why couldn't you? If you didn't know, the Penn Wood girls' track team was going to dedicate this year to you, but for you to stoop down to a childish level like that, totally disrespect Lenny(when he did nothing to you or said anything to disrespect you), and to embarrass the Penn Wood Girls track team (in the newspaper and to switch over to STRATH HAVEN!!!!!) then that really shows how petty you can be. You were truly a role model to us and someone we really looked up too.
Don't get us wrong, we are grateful for the work that you have put in to us, but shame on you Mrs. Williams for stooping down to that level and disrespecting people that were concerned and truly cared about you.
