Was it the coach or the athletes?

QFrom what I’ve seen, the Penn Wood girls’ track was great during the indoor and outdoor seasons. The Patriots went out there and put forth 100 percent in everything they ran. Penn Wood has accomplished a lot this season, and I am very proud the Patriots. For a woman like you, Mrs. Williams, to talk down like that to your ex-team is unacceptable. You should feel ashamed by saying what you said. You should be happy that they have gone further than you have taken them and be glad that we are breaking our personal records. We can’t just do it with a coach. The thanks should go to the athletes as well as the coaches.

I fully understand your concern in regards to Carla Williams' comments about Penn Wood's track team under the direction of athletic director Rap Curry and  new coach Lenny Jordan.  However, I suggest that we ALL move on to another topic. This continued dialogue brings too much negative attention to what has been a successful season for the Patriots.
