Colonial Confrence
QSam, I saw that Sterling lost to Collingswood the other day, and I was a bit suprised. Sterling had McGowan against there #2, and was suprised not to see Kerr in the matchup. I know Sterling does not have White this year, but they return almost a whole starting line up. Do you think Sterling has a chance to reapeat in SJ Group II, and if not which teams do you think will contend out of the Colonial Confrence?
AI think there are several Colonial teams that look like Gr. 2 contenders, including Audubon, Sterling, Haddon Township, Collingswood, Haddonfield and Gateway. Collingswood didn't use Kerr against Sterling because he had pitched the previous day against Gateway, which, on paper, looks just as strong as Sterling. Sterling doesn't appear to have as much pitching as last year, but as you said, the Knights should score lots of runs. The Colonial looks loaded, with lots of balance. West Deptford (Group 3) is the conference favorite, but the Eagles will be tested.
