Terry Yeung, whose New Leaf Chinese-Japanese restaurant has been rolling along for two years in Broomall Shopping Center, says he has signed a lease for a second location, and it will be in Manayunk.

The double-wide storefront at 4258 Main St. last was Smokin' John’s Barbeque after a long spell as Bella Trattoria.

The new New Leaf -- dubbed New Leaf II -- will have a full bar and is being targeted for a March opening. Yeung previously worked for Sang Kee in Wynnewood.

Also forthcoming in Manayunk: a new location for Bernie’s (at the old Derek’s at 4411 Main St., penciled in for February); a perked-up U.S. Hotel Bar & Grill under new owners at 4439 Main St. (supposedly in mid-December); and the three-years-in-the-works El Camino Real at 4348 Main St. (now up for spring).
