Phillies are Game 5 winners in Vegas' book
Yeah, you read that right. While Major League Baseball might not revert back to the last completed inning in a World Series game suspended by rain, Vegas does. And that makes the Phillies, who led, 2-1, through five complete innings, winners.
All over/under wagers were considered "no plays" since the game did not go the required 8 innings.
But even if you did not have the Phils in that portion of Game 5, you can still get into the action when they resume. There is a money line (Phillies -$160, Rays +$150) posted on the remainder of the game.
There is no line on the number of obscenities that will be launched at Bud Selig when he shows up for the completion of Game 5. *
