Former Dallas Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson will, according to a report, be a contestant on the CBS reality show "Survivor: Nicaragua."

The Dallas Morning News, citing a source, reported the 67-year-old Johnson will be on the show, which will air this fall.

Last year, the Miami Herald reported that Johnson would have been a contestant on "Survivor: Gabon" but he failed the physical.

According to the Dallas Morning News, Johnson has lost weight since then. The newspaper reported that taping for the show began in late June in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua.

Filming of the show is not expected to interfere with John-son's duties as an analyst for the "Fox NFL Sunday" show.

"Survivor" will be televised on Wednesday at 8 p.m. beginning in September. There was no word about the identities of the other contestants, who will compete to see who can outlast the others over a 39-day period and win $1 million.

* The Eagles brought in Arizona Rattlers receiver Rod Windsor, who holds the Arena Football League season record for receptions with 174, for a workout, the Arizona Republic reported. The Eagles are the only NFL team to have worked out Windsor, who is 6-2, 205 pounds.

If Windsor is offered a contract by the Eagles, "We'll be happy for him," Rattlers coach Kevin Guy said. "If there is an opportunity to play in the NFL, we'll do everything we can to help him."

Guy said the Dolphins and Saints also have expressed interest.

Reed told Baltimore's 105.7 The Fan he expects to be placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list, which requires a player to miss the first six games of the season.

* The New England Patriots signed seventh-round picks defensive lineman Kade Weston and quarterback Zac Robinson.

Weston, who started 20 of the 48 games he played at Georgia, was taken with the 248th overall selection.

Robinson, Oklahoma State's career leader with 10,175 yards of total offense and 8,317 yards passing, was chosen two picks later.

* The Chicago Bears signed running back Harvey Unga to a 4-year contract. Terms were not disclosed. Unga, BYU's all-time leading rusher, was taken in the seventh round of the supplemental draft.

The Bears also cut defensive tackle Jimmy Saddler-McQueen and wide receiver Vic Hall. They were undrafted free agents.
