
Davydenko dominating in ATP World Tour Finals victory
Davydenko was coming off his semifinal victory over top-ranked Roger Federer and dominated his service games against Del Potro, losing only five points on serve in the first set and eight in the second.
"Maybe I had good concentration. I was surprised," said Davydenko, who has reached four Grand Slam tournament semifinals but never made a final. "I was coming in from first point [with] 100 percent concentration."

* The U.S. Ski Team said TJ Lanning has a fractured vertebrae in his neck and a dislocated left knee from a crash during the season-opening World Cup downhill in Calgary, Alberta. U.S. Ski Team spokesman Tom Kelly said Lanning, 25, of Park City, Utah, has full movement but that his injuries are "clearly season-ending."
* Sarka Zahrobska, of the Czech Republic, won a World Cup slalom in Aspen, Colo. No Americans qualified for the second run. Marlies Schild, of Austria, who recently returned to competition 13 months after breaking her left leg, was runner-up.
* Finland's Hannu Manninen overtook Germany's Tino Edelmann in a thrilling finish to win the season's second World Cup Nordic combined event in Kuusamo, Finland, by 1.2 seconds.

* Francesco and Edoardo Molinari became the first brother combination to win the World Cup of Golf, giving Italy its first title in the team event with a one-stroke victory over Sweden and Ireland. The Molinaris finished at 29-under and earned $875,000 each in the tournament, held in Shenzhen, China. Americans Nick Watney and John Merrick had the best round of the day, a 10-under 62 that gave them a sixth-place tie at 20-under.
* Damon Duval kicked a 33-yard field goal with no time left - after getting a second chance because of a Saskatchewan penalty - as the Montreal Alouettes defeated the Roughriders, 28-27, in Calgary to win the Grey Cup. Montreal overcame a late 16-point deficit.
* Michael Schumacher said he is fully healed from his neck injury and indicated he has not ruled out a return to Formula One next season. He made the comments in Brazil, where he competed in a charity karting race.
* Challenger Koki Kameda, of Japan, defeated compatriot Daisuke Naito by unanimous decision to win the WBC flyweight title in Saitama, Japan.
* The World Health Organization is sending a representative to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver to monitor for potential disease outbreaks, and organizers and health experts have taken steps to protect against the H1N1 virus.
* Armin Zoeggeler edged Wilfried Huber by 0.097 seconds to lead Italy to a 1-2 finish at a men's luge World Cup race. Zoeggeler finished in a combined time of 1 minute, 37.988 seconds.
* Belmont Stakes winner Summer Bird has been declared out of the Dec. 6 Japan Cup Dirt in Tokyo after a small chip was detected in his right front carpal bone.
