
All-Star Game: Crystal Baseballing
Here's a look at where upcoming All-Star Games will, or might, be held.
2010: The game has been awarded to Anaheim.
2011: The game has been awarded to Arizona.
2012: The Royals reportedly have been promised 2012 or 2014, most likely 2012, after extensive renovations of Kauffman Stadium. The Red Sox have also asked to be considered to celebrate the centennial of Fenway Park.
2013: ESPN has reported that commissioner Bud Selig told Mets chairman Fred Wilpon that his team is "likely" to host the 2013 game at Citi Field. The Dodgers also are believed to be interested once extensive renovations to the stadium, which will then be 51 years old, are completed. And Ohio state Sen. Gary Cates (R-Butler County) has introduced a resolution in the Ohio Senate urging MLB to select Cincinnati to host the 2013 game after the Reds successfully hosted this year's Civil Rights Game in June.
2014: MLB.com has reported that the Twins are hoping new Target Field will be chosen.
