Pumpkin chucked 4,623 ft.

A team of pumpkin chuckers from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware is claiming a Guinness World Record title after launching a pumpkin 4,623 feet at a Youth Garden Project Pumpkin Chuckin' Festival in Moab, Utah.

The team used a 90-foot, compressed-air cannon and traveled to southern Utah hoping that the high elevation and thin air would help them set a world record. The group is awaiting final verification from Guinness. The previous record was 4,491 feet.
