Green stuff for greening

Pennsylvania is about to offer $192.5 million in funds that families can tap to make their homes more energy-efficient. The money - a combination of grants, loans and rebates - will help cover costs for basic weatherizing and for alternatives like solar power and geothermal heat.

You can sign up to get updates as the details are announced this fall. Go to www.depweb.state.pa.us and click on the Fueling Energy Savings logo, then click on the green envelope.
