Correction
An article in Wednesday's Daily News stated that Solomon Montgomery, the robber who shot and killed Officer Gary Skerski on May 8, 2006, was awaiting sentencing. Montgomery pleaded guilty last Oct. 30 to the murder. He is serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole at the State Correctional Institution at Huntingdon. *
