AT THE SHORE

Night in Venice Boat Parade

This annual flotilla fest is the dry island's wettest, wildest, oddest contest - in a town that sets the odd bar high. Boaters decorate their boats in wacky themes. Bayfront dwellers do the same to their houses. Sunday, everyone sleeps in.

Longport Bridge to Tennessee Avenue, Ocean City, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, 609-525-9300, ocnj.us.
