Q: I'm in my mid-20s and have never been in a relationship where I had such a strong connection with a woman. She tells me how special I am to her. However, many times she is too busy to go out, or she'll cancel. We IM each other all day at work. We have gone out about five times since we met six weeks ago. We also meet for lunch once or twice a week. I'm wondering if she really likes me, because it seems like so many other things take priority. She said we are exclusive, but she doesn't want to label us boyfriend/girlfriend yet. Am I being too hasty?

STEVE: You IM each other every day, have lunch once or twice a week and have gone out five times in six weeks. She says it's exclusive - and you wonder if she likes you? I think you're lucky she hasn't run away from such a clingy guy. Give her some space, man.

MIA: What's the rush, big boy? Your girl is smart to take things slow. Why not savor getting to know this new person in your life? If this relationship is the real deal, things will work themselves out. Also, remember that trust is key to any relationship. There's something about her that you don't trust. Pay attention to that instinct.
