two. At more than eight minutes long, whatever you do, don't pick "Free Bird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd or "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" by Meat Loaf. (Rumor has it that DJ Joe H will make people pay to sing them.) And stay away from the overplayed and underappreciated "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt.
* DO shoot for a crowd-pleaser.

vate karaoke room. Hone your skills at Yakitori Boy in Chinatown, where the rooms are rented by the size and the hour.
