'Got Talent'?
NBC's "America's Got Talent" will hold Season 5 auditions in Philadelphia on Oct. 25 and 26 at the Convention Center, 11th and Arch streets. Contestants are encouraged to pre-register at www.AGT auditions.com.
'Talk' debuts Monday
CBS 3 debuts a daily half-hour lifestyle show at noon Monday, hosted by Pat Ciarrochhi and Ukee Washington from a new living room-style set. Contributing news updates to "Talk Philly" will be Liz Keptner and meteorologist Maria LaRosa. Monday's broadcast includes local rockers The Hooters, performing live from their Conshohocken studio.
Obama doc premiere here
The National Constitution Center will host a Philadelphia premiere of the HBO documentary, "By the People: The Election of Barack Obama," at 6 p.m. Oct. 28, followed by a question-and-answer session with filmmakers Amy Rice and Alicia Sams.
Admission is free, but reservations are required, and can be made by calling 215-409-6700.
The two-hour documentary, which draws on footage shot by the filmmakers beginning nearly a year before Obama announced his campaign for the presidency, premieres on HBO on Nov. 3.
'FlashForward' future
Following up on its pickups of comedies "Modern Family," "The Middle" and "Cougar Town," ABC's announced a full-season order for its Thursday sci-fi drama "FlashForward."
