Music this week

Live music and more, tonight through Thursday, compiled by Shaun Brady, Tom Di Nardo, James Johnson, Sara Sherr and Jonathan Takiff.

POP

Antennas Up: Nerdy and nice Kansas City trio has a fluttery, techy, soul-pop/hip-hop/dance thing going down that could hit your wavelength. Think a mash-up of Jamiroquoi, Justin Timberlake and Gnarls Barkley with a dose of quirky humor that's all their own. General Lafayette Inn, 646 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hills, 9 tonight, $5 (all ages), 610-941-0060.

Bonnie Prince Billy: Who writes and sings about "ardour" as well as love? This alter-ego for the prolific Will Oldham, showing off his most quivery, poetic, old-world folk side. Old Calf opens. Trocadero, 10th and Arch streets, 9 tonight, $18 (all ages).

Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers: Think a wild West, sharp-shootin' variant on Bruce and the E-Street Band. Dead Rock West opens. World Cafe Live, 3025 Walnut St., 7:30 tonight, $27-$37, 215-222-1400, www.worldcafelive.com.

The Juan MacLean: Electronic dance popsters set the room on fire with their "Happy House" music, featuring live players and a female vocalist. The Field, alter-ego for Stockholm-based Axel Willner, opens with a more minimalist, man-and-his-machines approach. Pure, 1221 St. James St., 9 tonight, $12, 215-735-5772, www.igetrvng.com.

Keisha Hutchins: Haunting Philadelphia talent veers away from the neo-soul mainstream with her own impressive sound. Sierra Hurtt opens. Tin Angel, 20 S. 2nd St., 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, $10, 215-928-0978, tinangel.com.

Highway 61 Revisited: The world's "first and only" (they claim) Bob Dylan tribute band has scored several unauthorized documentaries about the man, and now celebrates (a night early) Bobby's 68th birthday with a show. Sellersville Theater, Main and Temple streets, Sellersville, 8 p.m. tomorrow, $21.50, 215-257-5808, www.st94.com.

Bob Dylan Birthday Tribute: Hmmm, here's another salute to the man, featuring the "Philadelphia All-Stars," and on the right day! Nik Everett, Peter Stone Brown and David Broida are among the growlers. Tin Angel, 20 S. 2nd St., 7:30 p.m. Sunday, $10, 215-928-0978, www.tinangel.com.

Ana Popovic: An electric blues rockin' woman from Belgrade, Yugoslavia? Don't underestimate the power of cultural exchange. Popovic is the bomb! Donovan Roberts opens with his rootsy blend of rock, blues and country. Sellersville Theater, Main and Temple streets, Sellersville. 7:30 p.m. Sunday, $15, 215-257-5808, www.st94.com.

Philadelphia Love Unlimited Orchestra: Barry White meets TSOP? Just guessing. With El Malito, Jill Rabbits, the Lemon Treasures. Balcony, 10th and Arch streets, 8 p.m. Tuesday, $9, 215-922-LIVE, www.thetroc.com.

Jukebox The Ghost: Spunky piano pop in the Ben Folds vein. With Jenny Owen Youngs, These United States. Johnny Brenda's, 1201 N. Frankford Ave., 9 p.m. Tuesday, $10/$12, 215-739-9684, www.johnnybrendas.com.

Carbon Leaf/Alternate Routes: Two slants on warm, harmonic folk-rock share this sweet bill. World Cafe Live, 3025 Walnut St., 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, $23-$33, 215-222-1400, www.worldcafelive.com.

Testament: Metal heavies celebrate the release of "Formation of the Damnation," their first new album in 10 years. With Unearth, Lazarus A.D., Orcus. Trocadero, 10th and Arch streets, 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, $22.50/$25 (all ages), 215-922-LIVE, www.thetroc.com.

Jeffrey Lewis: While billed an "anti-folkster," Lewis' rough-hewn vocals and seemingly tossed off tunes can't disguise the wit and wisdom in his work. Performing this time with a band. Openers include John Eichleay, Josh Mease, They Call Us The Wayfairs. The Fire, 412 W. Girard Ave. 9 p.m. Wednesday, $8, 215-671-9298, www.iourecords.com.

Expect great selections of house, soul, funk and of course, hip-hop. Arts Garage, 1533-35 Ridge Ave., 10 tonight, $5, 21-plus, 215-765-2702, www.theartsgarage.com.

Legacy — We've Forgotten Our Name: A hip-hop, poetry and community night featuring live performances by The G.O.D. Power Movement, Saturday Cipher Students and Souled Out. The veteran singers are back. Keswick Theatre, 291 Keswick Ave., Glenside, 8 p.m. tomorrow, $45 and $55, 215-572-7650, www.keswicktheatre.com.
