Chris Brennan writes the Urban Warrior column and covers politics. The Philadelphia native graduated from Temple University and is now a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania. Brennan's career includes stints as a freelance writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer, The Press of Atlantic City and several publications in Hawaii. He has worked as a staff writer at The Pottsville Republican in Schuylkill County and The Fort Pierce Tribune and The Lakeland Ledger in Florida. ANYONE WHO has lived in Center City knows it's tough to find a parking spot near home. It goes with the territory, living in a densely packed neighborhood.

I WAS STARTING to wonder what takes longer - getting an appointment at one of the city's overcrowded and understaffed Neighborhood Health Centers or getting Mayor Street's administration to explain the long wait.
