Tattle: Paul Anka says he heard MJ's 'This Is It' before

MICHAEL JACKSON's new song, "This Is It," hasn't been out two days and already there's trouble.

From none other than Mr. "My Way," Paul Anka.

TMZ.com says that back in 1983, Anka wrote a song with Jackson called "I Never Heard" and the pair recorded a demo.

The song was supposed to appear on the Anka duets album, "Walk a Fine Line," but MJ was in the middle of "Thriller"-mania and "stole the tapes" from the studio.

Anka threatened Michael with a suit if he didn't get the tape back, but contends that Michael made a copy before returning it.

Anka said "This Is It" is the same song, with the same Michael vocal, but with a new name. As proof he said the song was recorded with its original name by Safire in 1990.

According to Anka, no one at Michael's estate is even denying it. He told TMZ.com they're falling over each other to apologize for ripping him off.

Estate co-special administrator John Branca told TMZ, "We acknowledge that Michael and Paul wrote this song together."

Estate co-special administrator John McClain told Anka (according to Anka), " 'Michael couldn't have written this song alone. It's not his style.'

" 'We'll give you whatever you want,' " Anka said McClain said.

" 'Whatever it takes we'll do the right thing.' "

Michael Jackson - more drama than high school.

No 'Glee' in Herald Square

According to a story on TMZ.com, NBC has become one petty peacock.

It seems the cast of "Glee" was all set to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade until network suits got wind of it.

"Glee" is on Fox and people love it, which makes it sort of the opposite of NBC's new shows, although we hear good things about "Community."

So instead of looking at the "Glee" appearance as a way to generate more interest in the Parade telecast, the suits told Macy's to nix the spot.

Reid it for the articles

In Touch Weekly reports that Tara Reid is following a path taken by many women with careers in decline: She's posing for Playboy.

To do so, New Jersey native Tara, who has made paparazzi news in the past due to lopsided breasts and liposuction scars, had to end her personal ban on nudity.
