Tattle: Scans could bring some of MJ back in the future

WE MAY NOT have seen the last of Michael Jackson.

One day there could be Michael 2.0.

According to Britain's Daily Star, it seems as if back in 1996, Michael underwent several three-

dimensional scans so a virtual-reality "robotic" twin could be produced.

"The data has been in our archives since he had the scans," said the anonymous businessman who allegedly owns the alleged images. "The thing about this data is it immortalized him at the age of 37, before his nose was disfigured and when he was in the prime of his life."

It is possible that the scans could now be used to bring Michael back in videos, games or even films.

* When did Aerosmith become

a soap opera?

For years the band did little but crank out hits and rehab bills, but now that front man Steven Tyler is close to getting social security, the band's drama is playing out like a scene from "High School Musical."

Even though Tyler told the audience at a Joe Perry concert this week that he was not leaving the band, Perry told Billboard.com that Tyler "never said he was leaving the band." He "said he wanted two years off to do his other projects."

"Aerosmith wants to work," said Perry, who Tweeted earlier in the week that the band was "positively looking for a new singer to work with." He added, "The band's been playing together for 40 years. It's a really powerful rock band, and I don't want to see it just go to waste and I don't think any of the other guys do, either. We're gonna work and we're gonna do something. I'm not exactly sure what yet, but the band's too good to let it sit around. We're not going to wait for Steven."

* Director Martin Scorsese is

receiving the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement at the Golden Globes.

The award will be presented at the 67th annual Globes on Jan. 17.

Vera Farmiga, who appeared in Scorsese's "The Departed," made the announcement yesterday in Beverly Hills.

"He has the power to rouse a crowd and bring them along on his holy mission," Farmiga said. "He considers it holy work, and cinema is his shrine. And he instills in the actors, in the crew, and everybody around him just what a powerful tool it is."

The Golden Globes will have a host for the first time since 1995 - Ricky Gervais, who, as an atheist, does not believe in holy things.

Carrie Prejean Update
