* Now that David Letterman has officially apologized to Sarah Palin, Bristol and Willow, and Gov. Palin has officially accepted the apology, the culture wars may return to their regularly scheduled battle between former Miss California Carrie Prejean and the Miss USA pageant.
Said Palin of Letterman's apology: "Of course it's accepted on behalf of young women, like my daughters, who hope men who 'joke' about public displays of sexual exploitation of girls will soon evolve."
Sure, now she believes in evolution. *
