Christina Hendricks (above) will be wearing a "dream gown."

Tattle: Christina ('Mad Men') Hendricks to tie knot

"MAD MEN" STAR Christina Hendricks (secretary Joan Holloway) is going to be making a lot of men mad.

TV Guide reports she will marry Geoffrey Arend ("Trust Me") Oct. 11 in Manhattan.

"It's exciting," Hendricks said. "I'm wearing a beautiful Carolina Herrera dream gown."

It's exciting for her? Few women on TV can fill out a gown like Hendricks.

Arend will wear a Brooks Brothers tuxedo to the small ceremony, but no one will notice.

* Hopefully Hendricks and Arend will have better luck in wedlock than Usher and Tameka Raymond.

Usher said he and his wife were separated for nearly a year before he filed for divorce, calling the marriage in court records, "irretrievably broken."

Which sounds much worse than irreconcilable differences.

The pair married in August 2007 but split in July 2008.

The Raymonds have two sons: 1 1/2-year-old Usher Raymond V and 6-month-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. Tameka, Usher's former stylist, has three children from a previous marriage.

The divorce petition says there is "no reasonable hope of reconciliation" between Usher, 30, and Tameka, 38.

Usher is seeking joint custody of the children.

Tameka is contesting the divorce and said through her attorney that she has been a "faithful wife and loving mother" during the marriage.

Being faithful is probably a more important part of the marriage when you live together.

The Cook and the Book

To celebrate the new Meryl Streep-Amy Adams movie, "Julie & Julia," Tattle has copies of the book "Julie & Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen," autographed by author Julie Powell, for five lucky winners.

Powell, the real "Julie," will be signing copies of the book tomorrow from noon to 1 p.m. at the Center City Borders, 1 S. Broad St.

For a chance to win, e-mail tattlecontest@phillynews.com by Friday at noon with your name, address, phone number AND the words I want to cook like Julia Child.

Only one entry per e-mail address. The five winners will be picked at random. Good luck.
