Tattle: Kelis wants Nas to pay up
THE KELIS-NAS break-up has turned Nas-ty.
Pregnant with Nas' baby and due this month, Kelis claims her estranged husband has left her without a pot to have her water break in.
According to TMZ.com, Kelis is about to give birth and said, "I have run out of money."
TMZ.com's court reporters say Kelis, who married Nas in 2003, is asking a judge to order Nas to pay through the nose.
Seems fair. Nas says he's loaded.
Kelis wants spousal support, child support, all pregnancy-related expenses and half of all medical expenses after the child is born. She also wants $3,500 for a baby nurse and $20,000 for strollers, cribs and other baby supplies.
No hand-me-downs for this kid.
"My survival is based on [Nas'] will at this time. If he does not want to pay for an expense, it does not get paid," Kelis said.
And Kelis has a lot of expenses she expects Nas to pay because it doesn't appear as if she plans to pawn any of her pricey bling, including a princess-cut diamond tennis bracelet recently appraised for $190,000.
"My engagement ring," Kelis the show-off said, "is an approximately nine-carat cushion-cut diamond solitaire. I have numerous watches . . . such as Cartier, Rolex, Frank Muller and Chopard."
Sounds like she can afford a stroller. But that doesn't excuse Nas from chipping in.
