OK, it was Spike Channel's Scream award, and it was for best sci-fi actress, but still. Best Actress. Way to go, Megan.
She won for her fine work running in slow motion in Michael Bay's "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," and she certainly accounts for the best 1 percent of the movie's 150 minutes.
We mention this because "TROTF" is just about the only recognizable new title available on DVD this week, as rival studios clear the decks to make way for the year's box-office champion (one company did have the courage to release a boxed set of every episode of "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman").
There are two versions of "TROTF" available - a $29 single disk with the movie and little else, or a $34 two-disk edition with a boatload of special features. Commentary by Michael Bay, documentaries about the cinematography, the story, the history of the Transformers and a Linkin Park music video.
