Dan Gross: Stensland's out at Fox 29
DAWN STENSLAND will be leaving Fox 29 at the end of her contract, sometime before the end of the year, the station has confirmed. The timetable of her departure is being worked out, a spokeswoman said yesterday. Kerri-Lee Halkett will take over as co-anchor of "Fox 29 News at 10" with Thomas Drayton. Stensland, wife of fired CBS 3 anchor Larry Mendte, started at Fox 29 in December 2001. She worked previously anchoring at CBS 3.
"Fox is not renewing my contract. I wanted you to hear that directly from me. Thank you for all your love and support over the years," Stensland Twittered last night.
