Dan Gross: Baby mama drama for Brock

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS defensive tackle Raheem Brock is behind on child support by more than $7,500, ex-wife Deziree Williams said.

Brock and Williams wed in June 2002 and divorced in October 2005. Their daughter was born in July 2003 after the couple had separated. A child-support payment plan signed in a Philly court in April 2007 holds that Brock, who made $3,120,480 with the Colts last year, is to pay $3,500 per month for child support.

Williams, 30, a computer teacher at area private schools, says Brock, 31, is behind more than $4,000 from the past eight months and withheld his July payment because she would not allow him to see the child.

Williams admits that she has kept Brock from seeing his daughter for a month, telling him that he needs to pay up first.

Williams says she has asked Brock repeatedly for the money and that he has avoided her, and more recently said that their lawyers could work it out. The couple met at Temple and dated throughout college, marrying the first year the Dobbins High grad played for the Colts.

From July 2007 to Oct. 2008 Brock was to pay $3,000, witholding $500 per month to cover a loan he had previously made to Williams.

As of Nov. 2008, his payments should have been back to $3,500, but he has paid only $3,000 monthly, according to Williams' bank records. Brock, who has three other children by two other women, did not return a message we left on his cell phone yesterday.

Wendy Williams ready for TV

"I'm no dope," says Wendy Williams. "Nobody knows me outside of New York so I have millions of people to win over," says the longtime radio host, whose nationally syndicated TV talk show debuts at 10 a.m. Monday on Fox 29. Williams was a longtime host on Power 99 and now broadcasts nationwide out of New York.

Williams is not known for her restraint, but says her bark is reported as worse than it is and that she is "a wife and mother" and will interview guests from those perspectives as well as that of a gossip-seeking entertainment host.

"My show is a show of happiness and fun," Williams says.

More cookies for Ana Ortiz

Ana Ortiz is collecting cookies. Yesterday we quoted the "Ugly Betty" actress praising the thoughtfulness of the show's star America Ferrera by sending cookies to her hospital room last week after she delivered her baby, Paloma Louise Lebenzon, the first child for the UArts grad and musician husband Noah Lebenzon. Ana's father, former Councilman Angel Ortiz, called in to say he was just at the Famous Deli (4th & Bainbridge) and saw former owner Dave Auspitz, who owns the Famous 4th Street Cookie company with wife Janie.

Angel tells us that Dave asked for Ana's address and just sent up a box of cookies to her Brooklyn home addressed to baby Paloma.

Top Chef has two locals

Two local chefs, Jennifer Carroll of 10 Arts by Eric Ripert at the Ritz-Carlton and Jennifer Zavala of El Camino Real (1040 N. 2nd) will appear on the sixth season of Bravo's "Top Chef," which premieres Aug. 26. Taping began in April in Las Vegas.

A matrimonial media merger

Congratulations to Daily News copy editor Nina Sachdev and Chestnut Hill Local news editor Joel Hoffmann, who were engaged last week before a vacation to Belize. Sachdev, 27, and Hoffmann, 26, met as Temple grad school students. The word nerds will wed next year at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. *
